  • Service required: dog walking, exotic pet sitting, or companion pet sitting

  • Transaction information, including information about the services you buy, prices, method of payment and payment details

Generally, you are under no obligation to provide us your personal information. However, we may be unable to provide you with our services unless you provide your personal information. We may combine the information you provide to us with information that is collected through automated methods, and with information we receive from other sources.

This website is hosted by Squarespace. Squarespace collects personal data when you visit this website, including:

  • Web pages you visited prior to coming to this website

  • Web pages you view while on this website

  • Your IP address

Squarespace needs the data to run this website, and to protect and improve its platform and services. Squarespace analyses the data in a de-personalised form.

Our policy is to not collect personal information from any child unless data is needed for a specific activity or as a result of exceptional circumstances, in which event we will ensure that the child’s parent or guardian has first provided us with written consent to that specific activity or that we have another lawful basis for collecting the personal information.

  • Online booking and contact forms on our website

  • Emails, phone calls, and in-person consultations.

When you submit information to this website via webform, we collect the data requested in the webform in order to track and respond to your submissions. We share this information with Squarespace, our online store hosting provider, so that they can provide website services to us. We also share this information with Gmail for storage and with Gmail for data porting.

8. Data Retention & Information Security

In the event this business closing down, we will retain customer data for a period of up to one-year from the date of closure. This allows us to manage any follow-up queries, complaints, or legal obligations. After this period, unless there is a legitimate reason to retain the information, the data will be securely deleted or anonymised.

You may exercise these rights free of charge by. However, subject to the applicable law, Pythons and Poodles Pet Care may charge a reasonable fee or refuse to act on a request if it is manifestly unfounded or excessive, for example if the same request is made repetitively. In some situations, Pythons and Poodles Pet Care may refuse to act or impose limitations on the information disclosed if, for instance, the disclosure is likely to adversely affect the rights and freedoms of others, prejudice the execution or enforcement of the law, or interfere with pending or future litigation.
